Nick has been a photographer since the early nineties. He drew a lot of inspiration from his uncle, John Adams, who was a respected fashion and glamour photographer in the swinging 60s through to the 'big hair' 80s in London. His work can still be found in stock libraries in London with the popular resurgence of the retro culture. Nick himself started his career working on cruise ships where he met his wife, Lori (from Colombus Ohio). In 1994 Nick and Lori moved to England with the help of The Princes Trust (an excellent English Charity started by Prince Charles to help young people who wanted to start up in business). Nick set up 'Nick Adams Photography' in a rural market town called Maldon in Essex. During their stay in England, Lori and Nick got married and had their first child Max . In 1998 Lori, Nick and Max moved to Southwest Florida where Nick Adams Photography made a reappearance with better weather and the sandy beaches as a backdrop. Nick Lori and Max have made Southwest Florida their permanent home along with two additions to their family, Brooke and McKenna.

Amy and Steve- Casa Ybel Resort, Sanibel Island

Just wanted to share these kind words I received from Amy and Steve. They were a dream to be around on their wedding day and I wish them all the best for the future.

I feel privileged to have been part of your day.

Thanks guys,

Nick

Hi Nick,

I received the proof album and DVD yesterday.  The proof album is so amazing!  A beautiful album filled with proofs of all the pictures.  I was expecting a spiral bound collection of proofs and I have an amazing keepsake.  I have an hour commute to/from work everyday.  I made it home after 7 last night – hungry and tired.  But when Steve brought me the UPS package – I forgot I was hungry and tired.  I spent an hour looking at the beautiful album.  And I cannot wait to watch the DVD tonight.  It will be tough choosing which pictures to have made into the album and prints.  So many amazing pictures!  And what I truly love is you captured us and the moments.  You captured our wedding day beautifully.  I love the pictures of Steve and I at the bottom of the Thistle Lodge steps where he is holding my dress.  I did not even know you were taking pictures.  I love the many beach pictures and outdoor pictures.  You truly know the best spots at Casa Ybel to take pictures.  The sunset was amazing – and you captured it so perfectly.  I love how you captured the pouring of the shells into the vase.  I love the ceremony pictures and how you captured every angle.  I can write a book of ‘I loves.’  The bottom line is that the wedding pictures and memories were very important to me.  I splurged a bit on the photography package so I could have some beautiful memories to look at from my wedding day for many years to come.  That splurge was worth every penny! You surpassed my expectations!  The photos are amazing!  The proof album and DVDs look amazing.  I know I will love the photo album and pictures when I finally decide which ones to have made.  Thank you so much for capturing our special day so perfectly!  You are truly a talented photographer and you present your work in such a beautiful way.  I LOVE my wedding pictures!

Thanks a million!

Amy
