We decided to incorporate 8 (for August) in our wedding date since it’s both our birth month. We are 3 years and two days apart. We met in Savannah, GA. I (Sam) was going to school at SCAD and John was in the Army at Fort Stewart. We met at a bar two days after my 21st birthday August 20th, 2011. The next night he cooked me spaghetti and brownies. Realized we had a connection and been together for two and a half years”.
